Medical Device User Testing Services

Many medical devices e.g. nebulisers, TENS machines and inhalers are now available to patients on prescription and over the counter for use in the home. These can present challenges for users.

The Instructions For Use (IFUs) work together with the design and operation of the device to ensure safe and effective use. Our User Test methods can be applied to the use of medicinal products, medical devices and their associated instructions. This can be conducted as a separate project or built into a combined test where the patient information leaflet (PIL) and use of the product are jointly assessed.
